How does a checkweigher work

‌Whether it is a mechanical or electronic checkweigher, the weight of the object is measured by placing it on the weighing pan and using the mass weight as the judgment standard.

For a mechanical checkweigher, the basic working principle is to place the mass block and the container at both ends, and achieve a balanced state through the movement and adjustment of the mass block. At this time, the net weight of the object can be calculated.

Electronic checkweighers rely on sensors and transformers to measure the weight of objects. They place the object on the sensor, and the sensor outputs a voltage signal. After amplification and processing, the net weight data is output. Among them, the output signal of the sensor is proportional to the weight of the object. Therefore, as long as the sensitivity of the sensor and the amplification factor of the transformer can be determined, the net weight of the object can be revealed based on the size of the output signal.
